Terms of Business

These terms apply when you commission 3D rendering work from us. Build3DRender is a trading name of RealRender3D Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 17384887. Registered office: 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean RealRender3D Ltd, and “you” means the person or company commissioning the work.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are fixed prices in pounds sterling, based on the drawings and scope supplied. Published starting prices apply to standard scope. Larger or more complex work is quoted per project, and sets of five or more images are priced as a package. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Payment

50% to start, 50% on approval of drafts. Final files are released on receipt of the final payment. Any rush surcharge is agreed in writing before work starts.

Drafts and revisions

A draft render with materials and lighting close to final, sent for your feedback before we produce the finals — so nothing is a surprise. You get up to four rounds of revisions based on your mark-ups of each draft. Camera, framing, material and styling changes are made within those rounds.

Changes to the underlying design after the draft stage, and additions to the agreed scope, are quoted separately as additional work.

Turnaround

A typical set is delivered in 5–7 business days, assuming mark-ups come back within a day of each draft. Rush delivery in 48–72 hours is available for a surcharge agreed in writing. The delivery date is confirmed with your quote. Late drawings, late approvals or changes to the brief move the delivery date accordingly.

Usage rights

Once you have paid in full, you receive a licence to use the final images for the marketing, planning and sales of the project they were produced for.

We keep the copyright in the images, and we keep our working files and 3D models. We may show the work in our portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Accuracy

There are two kinds of image, and they are not held to the same standard.

Marketing renders are illustrative impressions produced from the drawings and specifications you supply. Materials, planting maturity, sky and furnishings are indicative, and the finished building may differ in detail.

Verified views and photomontages for planning are produced from photographs of the site supplied by the client, to a documented method: the photograph used, the camera position and lens as supplied by the client, the date and time, and how the model was aligned to reference features visible in the photograph. They are accurate to that method, and we provide the method with the images. We do not survey; survey-verified accuracy is provided only where the client supplies camera data from a survey the client has commissioned, in which case the montage is built to that data. These are quoted per project.

We will tell you which kind of image you are commissioning when we quote. Please do not use a marketing render where a verified view is required.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for supplying accurate drawings and information, and for telling us promptly if they change. Before you publish or submit an image, you must confirm that what it shows matches the approved documents, and you are responsible for any disclaimers your marketing requires.

Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the work is limited to the fee you have paid us for it. We are not liable for decisions made by planning authorities, buyers, tenants or other third parties, or for loss of profit or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Cancellation

You can cancel a project at any time by telling us in writing. Work completed up to that point is payable, and any deposit already paid is applied to it.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
